WDG refers to the former Washington Department of Game, changed to WDW, Washington Department of Wildlife in 1985, and changed to WDFW, Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife, in 1994 upon merging with WDF, the former Washington Department of Fisheries. RID is the Western Library Network's Record ID number, and corresponds to the Library of Congress Card Number (LCCN) for records catalogued by the Library of Congress. The eight digits of this record number, with the .PDF file extension appended, form the file name at the department's web site (e.g., 94013619.PDF, Classification of Wildlife in Washington). Wxxx numbers are for internal use, and refer to document file names on the Western Library Network archive CD-ROM.
