Chuck Perry
Chuck Perry was first appointed in March 2005 and was reappointed in 2007. He graduated from WSU in 1967 with a BS degree in Rangeland Management and Ecology, and then worked at WDFW from 1967-2000 in the lands management division. Chuck was a charter member of the Governor’s Rangeland Committee and served on the Coordinated Resource Management Task Group. He also served on Ecosystem Standards Committee in 1994, and spent the following year teaching application of those standards at the Department of Natural Resources. He continues work as a technical advisor on the Douglas County Habitat Conservation Plan. He also served on the state’s Noxious Weed Control Board. Hunting and stream/lake fishing are important lifetime activities. Chuck and his wife Mary are longtime residents of Moses Lake, where he runs a small consulting company promoting sustainable rangeland management in the Northwest.
