CONFERENCE CALL April 13, 2000 - 9:00 a.m. Olympia, Washington ATTENDANCE: Commission Department Kelly White, Chairman Larry Peck, Deputy Director Russ Cahill, Vice Chairman Gayle Kreitman Don Heinicke Peter Birch Lisa Pelly Will Roehl Public: None Fred Shiosaki Commission Staff: Debbie Nelson Commissioner Cahill moved, seconded by Commissioner Shiosaki, that because issuance of Hydraulic Project Approvals may violate the take prohibition by permitting others to act, or even possibly by failing to act, the Commission directs the Director to take action to develop and implement an ESA compliance agreement for the Hydraulic Project Approval program. The motion carried unanimously. The Commission conference calls originally scheduled to be held on the second and fourth Thursdays of every month will now be held on the first and third Thursdays of every month. The next conference call will be held on May 4. The Commission and Deputy Director Peck discussed recent activities and items of interest.
