CONFERENCE CALL August 17, 2000 - 9:00 a.m. Olympia, Washington ATTENDANCE: Commission Department Kelly White, Chairman Larry Peck, Deputy Director Russ Cahill, Vice Chairman Jim Lux Lisa Pelly Dan Budd Dawn Reynolds Will Roehl Fred Shiosaki Bob Tuck Van Van Gytenbeek Commission Staff: Public: None Debbie Nelson PROPOSED LAND TRANSACTIONS: Dan Budd presented the Department's request for approval of numerous proposed land transactions. Commissioner Roehl moved, seconded by Commissioner Van Gytenbeek, to approve the following: -- Acquisition of the 59.83-acre Hayes property in Okanogan County for $315,000; -- Acquisition of the 52-acre Lindbloom property in Okanogan County for $319,000; -- Acquisition of the 157-acre Robinette Ranches, Inc. property in Columbia County for $58,500; -- Acquisition of the 2-acre Chaplin Family Trust property in Clallam County for $95,000; -- Acquisition of the 2-acre Moore property in Pacific County for $28,500; the 402-acre Graves property in Pacific County for $6,016; the 25-acre Nielson property in Pacific County for $92,322; and the 20-acre Rucker property in Pacific County for $5,600; -- Donation of 850-acre Columbia Land Trust property in Pacific County; -- Exchange of 30 feet of Department property for 30 feet of Menish property, all in Skagit County, and associated easement requests; and -- Road easement of 30 feet by 150 feet in Lewis County to Steve Birely for $250. The motion carried unanimously. RECENT ACTIVITIES: The Commission and Deputy Director Peck discussed recent activities and items of interest.
