CONFERENCE CALL February 17, 2006 - 8:30 a.m. Olympia, Washington ATTENDANCE: Commission Department Ron Ozment, Chair Jeff Koenings, Director Fred Shiosaki, Vice Chair Larry Peck, Deputy Director Ken Chew Bob Gibbons, Fish Program Jerry Gutzwiler Sue Patnude, Region 6 Director Conrad Mahnken Jon Anderson, Fish Program Chuck Perry Will Roehl Shirley Solomon Miranda Wecker Public Commission Staff: None Nancy Burkhart APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Commissioner Shiosaki moved, seconded by Commissioner Chew, to approve the minutes of the following: - December 2-3, 2005, Commission meeting; - January 13-14, 2006, Commission meeting; - February 3, 2006, Commission conference call; and to approve the minutes of the February 10-11, 2006, Commission meeting as corrected. The motion carried unanimously. 2006 TRIPLOID TROUT DISTRIBUTION -- DECISION: Bob Gibbons, presented for Commission approval the proposed 2006 triploid trout distribution list. On the conference call, staff reported that an additional $40,000 in funds was available. Staff also provided a briefing which included comments received during the January 21, 2006, Inland Fish Policy Advisory Group meeting. Commissioner Roehl moved, seconded by Commissioner Chew, to approve the 2006 triploid trout stock plan as proposed and amended by staff. The motion carried unanimously. GENERAL DISCUSSION: Commissioners and Director Koenings discussed recent activities and items of interest.
