PROPOSED LAND TRANSACTION:
Dan Budd presented the Department's request for approval of a proposed land transaction.
The Commission briefly went into Executive Session to discuss the minimum price at which the property will be offered for sale.
Commissioner Van Gytenbeek moved, seconded by Commissioner Roehl, to approve
the sale of 170 acres of the Department's Whidbey Island Game Farm in Island County to the Au Sable Institute for $665,000 and to approve the grant of an option to purchase the remaining 10 acres at market value should the Department decide to sell. The motion carried unanimously.
COMMISSION STAFF SALARY:
Commissioner Roehl moved, seconded by Commissioner Cahill, to set the salary for the Commission Confidential Secretary position at $3,793 per month. The motion carried unanimously.
DIRECTOR'S REPORT:
Director Koenings briefly reviewed recent activities and items of interest.
The Commission went into Executive Session to discuss personnel issues.
