Special Meeting via Conference Call March 23, 2007 - 4:00 p.m. Olympia, Washington ATTENDANCE: Commission Department Jerry Gutzwiler, Chair Tom Davis, Legislative Office Miranda Wecker, Vice Chair Bob Gibbons, Fish Program Gary Douvia Jo Wadsworth, Fish Program Chuck Perry John Anderson, Fish Program Fred Shiosaki Public Commission Staff: None Susan Yeager Chair Gutzwiler called the conference call to order at 4:05 p.m. TRIPLOID TROUT DISTRIBUTION - DECISION: Bob Gibbons presented for Commission approval additional lakes for the 2007 triploid trout stocking plan. Commissioner Shiosaki moved, seconded by Commissioner Perry, to approve the Department's revised 2007 triploid trout stocking plan depending upon the availability and approval to purchase triploid trout from Nisqually Trout Farm. The motion carried unanimously. LEGISLATIVE SESSION UPDATE: Tom Davis and Commissioners discussed the status of and Commissioner viewpoints on legislation related to the conservation and management of fish and wildlife resources in Washington State. GENERAL DISCUSSION: Commissioners and Department staff discussed recent activities and items of interest.
