CONFERENCE CALL May 9, 2003 - 10:30 a.m. Olympia, Washington ATTENDANCE: Commission Department Will Roehl, Chair Jeff Koenings, Director Ron Ozment, Vice Chair Larry Peck, Deputy Director Russ Cahill Ernie Rushing, AGO Lisa Pelly Matt Love, AGO Dawn Reynolds Doug Williams Kelly White Commission Staff: Public: None Susan Yeager The conference call was called to order at 10:35 a.m. The Commission immediately when into Executive Session to discuss the Washington Trout settlement. At 11:05 a.m., the conference call went back into public session. Commissioner Reynolds moved, seconded by Commissioner Cahill, to accept the terms of the settlement agreement as proposed and to authorize the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife Director to sign the agreement. The motion to accept the terms of the settlement agreement carried unanimously on a roll call vote. Commissioners Cahill, Ozment, Pelly, Reynolds, Roehl, and White individually authorized the Director to sign the settlement agreement on their behalf. Deputy Director Peck will contact Commissioners Shiosaki, Tuck, and Van Gytenbeek to obtain their permission for Director Koenings to sign the settlement agreement on their behalf. The Commissioners collectively agreed (no formal vote) to allow Chair Roehl to speak on their behalf about any minor editorial changes that need to be made to the agreement. All changes must go through Chair Roehl prior to Director Koenings signing the agreement.
