Enforcement Advisory Group

The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) has selected 18 individuals to serve on the Enforcement Advisory Committee.

Although WDFW is no longer seeking applications for nominations, at the conclusion of the two-year terms, WDFW will begin to solicit for nomination those that are interested in serving on the Enforcement Advisory Committee. The individuals serving on the Enforcement Advisory Committee have a broad range of experience, both in fish and wildlife conservation or other law enforcement.

As a member of this committee, the individuals selected may be asked to provide recommendations on issues, such as enforcement staffing, deployment, workload, outreach and education. This advisory committee will not create rules or policies; but will provide insight and recommendations to the Director and Chief of the Enforcement Program.

Members of the advisory group are expected to meet several times a year, and may be asked to comment on written materials throughout their two-year term, which ends in December 2008. The first meeting was conducted on December 2, 2006.
