This paper was presented at the 22nd Annual Northeast Pacific Pink & Chum Salmon workshop in Ketchikan, Alaska by WDFW staff, and was printed in the proceedings from that conference (Please contact the authors before citing this papers, as proceedings from this workshop are not treated as published material).
ESA-listed Hood Canal Summer Chum Salmon: A brief update on supplementation programs, extinction risk, and recovery goals
This paper provides an update on Hood Canal summer chum recovery activities through 2004, with an emphasis on the performance of supplementation programs, changes in extinction risk, and development of abundance and diversity-based recovery goals. Abstract / Full Report

Summer Chum Salmon Conservation Initiative (SCSCI) Report Series
The SCSCI is a recovery plan applying to all summer-timed chum salmon returning to streams in Hood Canal and the eastern Strait of Juan de Fuca. General background information on the plan is available on the Summer Chum Recovery Plan page.
