Columbia River Compact / Joint State Action Notice

The Compact met today and took the following action:

OCTOBER 5 COMMERCIAL FISHERY RESCINDED

The Compact rescinded the non-Indian commercial fishing period scheduled for 7 AM through 7 PM Monday October 5, 2009.

This fishery will not occur as previously scheduled.

The fishing period scheduled for the evening of October 4 remains in place as previously adopted.

FUTURE MEETINGS

A Compact hearing will occur at 3 PM on Tuesday October 6 (via telephone).
