Columbia River Spring Chinook
Sport Fishery below I-5 Bridge

• The states of Washington and Oregon met today to review the on-going Columbia River spring Chinook sport fishery below Bonneville Dam, in the area between Buoy 10 and the I-5 Bridge.

• No action was taken on this fishery.
  The fishery will remain open as scheduled through Sunday April 15, 2007.

• A Joint State Hearing is scheduled for 2:00 Friday April 13, 2007. The purpose of this hearing will be to consider if the sport fishery may be extended beyond April 15.

• A Compact is scheduled for 10:00 p.m. Tuesday April 17 via telephone to discuss Select Area commercial fisheries.
