Joint State staff met today to discuss the ongoing salmon sport fishery in the area between Tongue Point/Rocky Point and Bonneville Dam
NO ACTION WAS TAKEN ON THIS FISHERY
THE FISHERY WILL CONTINUE AS SCHEDULED THROUGH
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 16.
The fishery will only close for Chinook retention as scheduled effective Wednesday September 17, 2008. The fishery will remain open for hatchery coho and hatchery steelhead as outlined in the 2008/2009 "Fishing in Washington" pamphlet.

A Compact hearing has been scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Tuesday September 16, 2008 at the ODFW Clackamas office in the Building 16 Conference Room at 17330 SE Evelyn Street Clackamas, Oregon 97015 The purpose of the hearing will be to discuss stock status and consider late fall non-Indian commercial fisheries.
