Lower Columbia River Recreational Fishery
CHECKPOINT

NO ACTION WAS TAKEN ON THIS FISHERY

THE FISHERY WILL REMAIN OPEN FOR CHINOOK RETENTION AS SCHEDULED.

The Joint States met today to review the status of the ongoing recreational fishery below Bonneville Dam. The States agreed to take no action today and will review the fishery status again on Monday (if warranted) following TAC's update on the Upriver Bright (URB) run size.

Based on the current URB run size estimate and catch projections, it appears Chinook retention can continue at least through Wednesday September 19.
