The following Columbia River Seasons were set:

NON-INDIAN COMMERCIAL STURGEON FISHERY
DATES:

6 PM Tuesday Jan. 9 through 6 PM Wednesday Jan. 10, 2007 (24 hours)
6 PM Tuesday Jan. 16 through 6 PM Wednesday Jan. 17, 2007 (24 hours)
6 PM Tuesday Jan. 23 through 6 PM Wednesday Jan. 24, 2007 (24 hours)
6 PM Tuesday Jan. 30 through 6 PM Wednesday Jan. 31, 2007 (24 hours)
6 PM Tuesday Feb. 6 through 6 PM Wednesday Feb. 7, 2007 (24 hours)
6 PM Tuesday Feb. 13 through 6 PM Wednesday Feb. 14, 2007 (24 hours)
6 PM Tuesday Feb. 20 through 6 PM Wednesday Feb. 21, 2007 (24 hours)

AREA: Zones 1-5
SANCTUARIES: Sandy River
GEAR: 9" minimum and 9 ¾" maximum size restrictions
ALLOWABLE SALES: White Sturgeon and adipose fin-clipped salmon.
Green sturgeon retention is prohibited.
MISCELLANEOUS RULES:

Quick Reporting Rules will be in effect for Washington buyers.
WAC 220-69-240

WDFW has adopted rules that require commercial purchasers to report their landings by a specified time. This rule can be attached to any commercial season that is adopted, but is not in place unless specified. WDFW staff has put in place the "quick reporting required" clause for this season. Washington buyers are required to send a report of their landings to WDFW by 10AM on the day after the purchase date by either:

b) E-mail: crfishtickets@dfw.wa.gov
c) Telephone: 1-866-791-1281


The following Columbia River Seasons were set:

NON-INDIAN COMMERCIAL SMELT FISHERY
DATES:

Close ongoing 7-day per week fishery effective Monday, January 1, 2007.

Adopt a Level One fishery consisting of two 9-hour weekly fishing periods:

7AM to 4PM Mondays (9 hours)
7AM to 4PM Thursdays (9 hours)
January 1, 2007 through March 31, 2007.

AREA: Zones 1-5
GEAR: Gill net, dip nets, or trawls as per permanent regulations
PARTICIPANTS: Columbia River commercial fishers with appropriate licenses and legal gear.
MISCELLANEOUS RULES:

Quick Reporting Rules will be in effect for Washington buyers.

6:00 PM to midnight Sundays (6 hours)
6:00 PM to midnight Wednesdays (6 hours)
January 1, 2007 through March 31, 2007.

AREA: Cowlitz River (downstream of Peterson's Eddy)
GEAR: Dip Nets
MISCELLANEOUS RULES:

Quick Reporting Rules will be in effect for Washington buyers.

AREA: Cowlitz River
DAILY LIMIT 10 pounds per person

MAINSTEM COLUMBIA RIVER SPORT SMELT FISHERY
DATES:

7 Days/Week, 24 hours per day
January 1, 2007 through March 31, 2007.

AREA: Zones 1-5
DAILY LIMIT: 25 pounds per person
NOTE: Concurrent with Oregon rules
