The Joint States met today to review the status of the ongoing recreational fisheries above and below Bonneville Dam and took the following action:

| Retention of Chinook salmon in the Columbia River recreational fisheries from Buoy 10 upstream to Bonneville Dam will be PROHIBITED effective:12:01 AM Wednesday September 19, 2007 until further notice. | |

Retention of Chinook salmon in Columbia River recreational fisheries from Bonneville Dam upstream to the Highway 395 bridge in Pasco, Washington will be PROHIBITED effective:
12:01 AM Thursday September 20, 2007 until further notice. | |
Both areas remain open for retention of hatchery coho and hatchery steelhead as per permanent regulations
