The Compact met today and took the following action:
The Compact rescinded the non-Indian commercial fishing period scheduled for 8 PM Thursday August 27 through 6 AM Friday August 28, 2009. This fishery will not occur as previously scheduled.
The August portion of the commercial fall season is complete. Mainstem commercial fisheries will resume in mid-September.
FUTURE MEETINGS
No Compact hearings are currently scheduled.
