During the week, 339 anglers were interviewed (128 bank anglers & 211 boat anglers). An estimated 123 steelhead were caught this week, 89 of which were harvested. Released fish included 54 ad clipped only and 9 wild steelhead. Anglers will be allowed to keep adipose only clipped steelhead begining Nov 1. Bank anglers averaged 12.6 hours per steelhead. Boat anglers averaged 11.1 hours of fishing per chinook. A few of the boat anglers are starting to switch over from fishing for salmon to concentrating on steelhead.
