Anglers harvested an estimated 910 adults and 343 jacks this week. WDFW/PSMFC staff interviewed 277 boats (693 anglers) during the week (27% of the effort). Effort is down a little more than 20% from last year. Catch however is now well above last years' with 1,558 adults and 457 jacks harvested as of Sept 30 compared to 1,421 adults and 160 jacks through Oct 1, 2006. Anglers averaged a chinook for each 14 pole hours or 1.2 fish per boat.
