Salmon/Steelhead
- Cowlitz River - At Lake Scanewa yesterday,
33 boat anglers sampled kept 26 adult coho and 8 jack coho plus released 5
adult coho and 2 jack coho. 4 bank anglers kept 2 adult coho.
- Flows below Mayfield Dam are 2,950 cfs this
morning. The long term median flow for this date is 8,540 cfs.
- Lewis River - No report on angling success.
North Fork flows below Merwin Dam were 2,750; the long term median flow is
7,700 cfs. On the East Fork Lewis, today's flow was 102 cfs; the long term
average median flow is 1,150 cfs.
- Bonneville Pool - The few boat anglers sampled
did very well on coho and hatchery steelhead.
- Ringold - Steelhead fishing remained about
the same as the past several weeks. Bank anglers kept 1 steelhead per every
5.6 rods last week. Boat anglers averaged a steelhead kept for every 2.25
rods. The actual checks were 28 bank anglers with 5 hatchery steelhead kept
and 1 wild fish released. 18 boat anglers kept 8 hatchery steelhead and released
1 wild fish.
Sturgeon
- Lower Columbia below Bonneville Dam - No report
on angling success.
- Bonneville Pool - The few boat anglers sampled
did well on legal-sized fish last week.
