Salmon/Steelhead -

Cowlitz River - Summer run steelhead are being caught from Blue Creek to Mission Bar. Boat anglers had the best success, a fish per every other rod.

Drano Lake - Bank and boat anglers are catching summer run steelhead. Effort is increasing with 31 boats counted here Saturday (July 16) morning.

Lower Columbia below Bonneville Dam - Including fish released, boat anglers averaged a steelhead per every 4 rods based on mainly completed trips while bank anglers averaged one per every 4 rods based on mainly incomplete trips. Best catch rates were from Longview downstream although some boats from Camas/Washougal upstream are also catching some fish including summer chinook.

During the Saturday (July 16), approximately 150 boats were counted. Effort was spread throughout the river. Over 110 bank anglers were counted along the Washington shore. The majority were found from Longview downstream.

Sturgeon -

Lower Columbia from the mouth to the Wauna Powerlines -

Ports of Chinook and Ilwaco - Data is currently unavailable.

Deep River and Knappton ramps - Boat anglers averaged a legal per boat when including fish released.

Lower Columbia from the Wauna Powerlines to Beacon Rock - Heaviest effort (50 boats) on this stretch of river was found in the gorge during last Saturday's flight. However, this area was slow for legal sized fish.

Walleye -

Lower Columbia below Bonneville Dam - The few boat anglers sampled had no catch. 13 boats were counted from Camas/Washougal upstream during last Saturday's flight.

Trout -

Mayfield Lake - Bank anglers are catching some rainbows.

Riffe Lake - Bank anglers are mostly catching landlocked coho and some bass.
