WDFW Sport Sampling Results:
November 17, 2003

Salmon/Steelhead -

Lake Scanewa (Cowlitz Falls Reservoir) - 42 boat anglers kept 18 adult coho and 5 jacks plus released 9 adults and 2 jacks. 2 bank anglers released 2 coho jacks.

Trout -

South Lewis County Pond in Toledo - 8 bank anglers kept 14 rainbows and released 2 others. Fish ranged from 12-14" in length.

Silver Lake near Castle Rock - 16 bank anglers kept 18 crappie. 2 boat anglers kept 2 crappie. Fish ranged from 8-10" in length.

Kress Lake near Kalama - 2 bank anglers had no catch.

Battle Ground Lake - 2 boat anglers had no catch. 166 steelhead averaging 10 pounds each were released there last Thursday (Nov. 13).

Klineline Pond in Hazel Dell - 6 bank anglers kept 1 rainbow.

Kidney Lake near North Bonneville - 4 bank anglers kept 8 rainbows. Fish ranged from 10-13" in length.
