into the Tilton River arm of Mayfield Lake at the Ike Kinswa State Park boat

- River flows at Mayfield Dam are
approximately 4,610 cubic feet per second on Monday, October 7. Water visibility
is nine feet.

caught upstream and downstream from the hatchery on the Green River. Quite
a few fall chinook are also being caught on the Green but all must be released.
- Kalama River - Bank anglers averaged
an adult hatchery coho per every 7.7 rods last week.
- Lewis River - Bank anglers around
the hatchery are catching some hatchery coho and while boat anglers are catching
fall chinook.
- Washougal River - Slow for fall
chinook. No coho have been sampled in the catch yet.
- Bonneville Pool tributaries -
The best fishing has probably been for hatchery coho on the lower Klickitat

(Monday Oct. 7).
- Yakima River - Fishing improved
on the lower Yakima to an adult chinook per every 4.5 rods last week.

fishing is best just below Bonneville Dam.
- Bonneville Pool - Boat anglers
are catching a mixture of coho and hatchery steelhead.
- Hanford Reach - Catch rates were
the same as the previous week, an adult chinook per every 2.9 rods. About
120 boat trailers were counted in the Vernita Bridge area last Saturday (Oct.
5).

- Lower Columbia below Bonneville
Dam - A few more anglers observed last week in the current catch and release
fishery.
- Bonneville Pool - Some legals
