Columbia River Compact Fact Sheets and Action Notices

Licenses:

The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife has shifted to an April 1 through March 31 licensing year.

Washington anglers should be aware either the Freshwater, Saltwater or Combination fishing licenses can be used to fish the Columbia River from the Buoy 10 line upstream to a line from Rocky Point in Washington across to Tongue Point in Oregon. Rocky Point is located along the west shore of Grays Bay near the Pacific/Wahkiakum counties border.

Remember, a WDFW Vehicle Use Permit is required to use water access sites and wildlife areas and is free with fishing and hunting license purchases. Permits will be sold for $10 each to non-hunting and non-fishing recreationists who use these areas for other activities.
