Salmon/Steelhead
- Cowlitz River - Boat anglers from
the I-5 Bridge are catching good numbers of fall chinook and hatchery coho.
Flows below Mayfield Dam were 4,590 cfs today.
- North Fork Toutle and Green River
- Bank anglers are catching good numbers of fall chinook and hatchery coho
although about half the chinook are reported being released. Weyerhaeuser
has closed public access to the hatchery.
- Kalama River - Bank anglers are
catching some fall chinook and hatchery coho.
- Lewis River - Anglers are catching
some fall chinook and hatchery coho. Flows below Merwin Dam were 1,360 cfs
today.
- Washougal River - Good numbers
of fall chinook are present.
- Wind River - Light effort and
catches.
- Drano Lake and White Salmon River
- Boat anglers are catching some fall chinook, hatchery coho and hatchery
steelhead at Drano Lake and as well as bank anglers at the White Salmon River.
- Klickitat River - Bank anglers
are catching upriver bright stock fall chinook.
- Buoy 10 - No report is currently
available.
- Lower Columbia below Bonneville
Dam - Boat anglers averaged about an adult chinook per every 4 rods based
on completed trips while bank anglers averaged one per every 13.4 rods based
on mainly incomplete trips last week. Increasing numbers of hatchery coho
are being caught by boat anglers at the mouth of the Cowlitz River.
- Bonneville Pool - Boat anglers
are catching a mixture of tule and upriver bright fall chinook off the mouths
of Drano Lake and the White Salmon River.
- Hanford Reach - No report is currently
available.
