Buoy 10 - Coho catches have been reported to range from ½ to a fish per rod. Chinook catches have dropped way off.

Lower Columbia below Bonneville Dam - Last week we sampled over 1,900 anglers with 1,000 adult chinook kept. Boat anglers averaged nearly 0.6 adult chinook kept per rod while bank anglers averaged one per every 4 rods. Coho catch is increasing at the mouth of the Cowlitz.

At Bonneville Dam, a new daily record count of adult chinook occurred on September 11 - 45,884 fish. The old record was 39,376 set on September 12, 1987. This year's daily counts since Spetember 11 have been higher than the old record.

Daily counts of steelhead and adult coho at Bonneville Dam the last two days have been the highest of the year to date - 8,045 steelhead on Saturday Sept. 13 and 8,028 adult coho on Sunday Sept. 14.

Nearly 65,000 adult fall chinook have been counted at McNary Dam through Sept. 14. Its the 21st consecutive year the escapement goal has been met. This year's escapement goal was 43,500 adult fall chinook (natural and hatchery included) for spawning escapement.

Bonneville Pool - Catches of fall chinook are increasing.

Hanford Reach - Fall chinook catches are increasing with a chinook per every 4.6 boat rods last week.

Cowlitz River - Fall chinook and some coho are being taken from lower river near the Olequa boat ramp. Flows below Mayfield Dam were 2,990 cfs today.

Lewis River - Anglers are catching quite a few coho and some fall chinook.

Drano Lake and White Salmon River - Anglers are catching fall chinook, coho, and hatchery summer-run steelhead.

Klickitat River - Anglers are catching some fall chinook and hatchery summer-run steelhead.

Sturgeon -

Lower Columbia below Bonneville Dam - Bank anglers are catching some fish just below Bonneville Dam; boat anglers are catching some legals in the Camas/Washougal and Woodland areas.

Trout -

Klineline Pond - Light effort and catches.

Goose Lake - Anglers are doing well on nice-sized cutthroats and some browns. Browns ranged up to 17 inches. 4,000 cutthroats averaging 15 inches each were planted there last week.
