Spring chinook allocation models

At a meeting held Oct. 15, the Columbia River Fish Working Group discussed several possible approaches to allocating the catch of spring chinook salmon between recreational and commercial fisheries in the lower river. The four models shown below reflect the objectives under consideration. The Working Group is expected to adopt a recommendation on an allocation model at a meeting scheduled Nov. 17.
