Bay
The Willapa Bay fishery began on September 15, 2008 in Areas 2G, 2H, 2J, 2M and 2K (some boundary areas were limited). White Sturgeon retention begins November 6 through 30, 2008 using 9-inch minimum mesh with a 4-day late coho directed fishery November 10-14 using either 6” or 9” maximum mesh but only one can be used. There was NO RETENTION Green Sturgeon allowed.

Harbor
The Grays Harbor fishery began on October 8 through October 10, 2008
in Area 2A/2D. This was followed by 2- 24 hr fisheries in Area 2C October
11-12 and October 15-16. There was NO RETENTION of Chinook (in Area
2A/2D only) or Green Sturgeon allowed.
