HARVEST PROFILE: Not much is known about clam resources on this beach. This is an exposed, rocky beach but it is possible that there are pockets of native littleneck clams available in mixed sand and gravel.
DIRECTIONS TO SITE: This beach is over seven miles long, from the eastern boundary (located about 7.5 miles west of Sekiu) to the western boundary at the mouth of the Sail River (located about a mile east of Neah Bay). The best landmark for the eastern boundary is Shipwreck Point that is about a mile west of the boundary. Highway 112 parallels this beach. There are several pullouts along Highway 112 which provide parking and access. Some of the uplands near homes and businesses are private. Please respect private property and avoid these areas.
FACILITIES: There are facilities in Neah Bay and Sekiu and there is a grocery store near Shipwreck Point. This beach offers great scenery and hiking along the shores of the western Strait of Juan De Fuca.
