HARVEST PROFILE: DNR-410 is located at just west of Diamond Point near the entrance to Discovery Bay. DNR-410 is mostly rocky substrate. Not much is known about clam populations on this beach, but surveys conducted in the 1980s found evidence of small populations of butter clams, horse clams, native littleneck clams and cockles. A better harvest alternative to DNR-410 is South Diamond Point.

DIRECTIONS TO SITE: DNR-410 is boat access only. There is no upland access to this beach. It is about 0.8 miles long from boundary to boundary. The eastern boundary of DNR-410 is about 500 yards west of the tip of Diamond Point. The western boundary is located about 500 yards west of a private boat ramp at the end of a very steep road and ravine. Neither of the boundaries is well marked. The GPS coordinates for the midpoint of this beach are: 48.096º N, 123.9º W. Harvesters are advised to use these coordinates to stay near the midpoint of this beach to avoid trespassing.

Nearest boat ramps: Gardiner ramp (located about 12 miles east of Sequim just north of Highway 101) is about three nautical miles by boat from the midpoint of DNR-410.
