HARVEST PROFILE: Quilcene Boat Ramp is a small beach that fronts the parking area for the boat ramp and the Quilcene Yacht Club. It is a popular beach because of the easy access. All of the clam and oyster harvest on this beach occurs to the north of the boat ramp. This is a good beach for Manila clams. Native littleneck clams are also available on this beach as well as some butter clams.

There are some oysters on this beach.

COOK ALL SHELLFISH: To learn about Vibriosis in oysters and other shellfish click here .

When open for harvest, Quilcene Bay WDFW Tidelands is recommended as a good altermnate to Quilcene Boat Ramp. It has a much larger harvest area and more clam and oyster resource.

DIRECTIONS TO SITE: Quilcene Boat Ramp is located just north of the Coast Oyster plant and the Quilcene Marina. From the south, follow Highway 101 to Quilcene and turn right at the Whistling Oyster Tavern onto Linger Longer Road. Follow Linger Longer Road about one and a half miles to the Quilcene Boat Ramp. The parking/access area is on the right.

From the north, follow either Highway 101 or Center Road to Quilcene and turn left at the Whistling Oyster Tavern onto Linger Longer Road; follow about one and a half miles to the Quilcene Boat Ramp. The parking/access area is on the right.
