HARVEST PROFILE: Not much is known about clam populations on this beach. Surveys conducted in the 1980s indicate the presence of native littleneck clams, Manila clams and butter clams. East Dabob Bay, 200 yards to the north, is known to be a very good clam beach and might be a better choice than Southeast Dabob Bay.
This is a good beach for oysters.

DIRECTIONS TO SITE: Southeast Dabob Bay is boat access only.
There is no upland access. The beach is about 950 yards long from boundary to boundary.
The boundaries are not marked. There is a stream that runs across the beach into the bay about 95 yards north of the midpoint
of the beach. It is approximately 390 yards from the stream to the north boundary and 580 yards from the stream to the south boundary. It is recommended that harvesters stay
well within the boundaries to avoid trespassing.
Approximate GPS coordinates of the stream are: 47.8094º N, 122.791º W.
Nearest boat ramps: Point Whitney ramp (located north of Brinnon on Bee Mill Road)
is about 3.7 nautical miles by boat from the mouth of the stream on Southeast Dabob Bay.
The Quilcene Marina ramp (located 1 mile south of Quilcene on Linger Longer Road) is about 4.6 nautical miles by boat from the mouth of the stream on Southeast Dabob Bay. FACILITIES:
None. There are restrooms at Point Whitney and Quilcene Marina. There are facilities for boaters at Quilcene Marina.
