HARVEST PROFILE:
This is an excellent beach for oysters. This beach was closed for clam harvest for many years.
It reopened for clam harvest on May 1, 2007.
Harvesters are reminded that only the western half of this beach is open for harvest

DIRECTIONS TO SITE:
From the south (Shelton and Olympia) travel north on Highway 101 through Shelton and continue
for about 11 miles to the intersection of Highway 101 and Highway 106. Take a right on Highway 106 (eastbound) and
follow it for about 23 miles to Belfair. Watch for the left turn and signs to Belfair State Park via
Highway 300 (Northshore Drive). The park is about three miles west of Belfair. The park entrance is on
the left and is well marked.
From the east on Highway 3 (Bremerton, Belfair) or the south on Highway 16 (Tacoma)
take Highway 3 to Belfair. Watch for the right turn and signs to Belfair State Park via
Highway 300 (Northshore Drive). The park is about three miles west of Belfair. The park entrance is on
the left and is well marked.
FACILITIES:
Belfair State Park has fire circles, horseshoe pits, volleyball fields, play area for children,
showers, potable water, year-round camping and picnic areas.
