Harvest Rules for clams, oysters and other species

Note: Minimum hardshell clam size limit of 1 1/4" is for Quicene Bay WDFW Tidelands only.

Be sure to check the seasons for the beach where you plan to harvest.

SeaweedNone10 Pounds wet weight. Harvest of seaweed with herring eggs attached is prohibited. All state parks are closed to harvest except Fort Flagler and Fort Worden and Fort Ebey which are open April 16 to May 15 only. Seaweed rules for State Parks


Unclassified Marine Invertebrates

The harvest of unclassified marine invertebrates is not allowed on state park beaches, but is open year round on all other beaches.
