Abalone NA 0 Closed all year Surveys show a continued decline in numbers of all size abalone.The closure is necessary to allow regeneration of stocks.
Octopus None 2 Open all year (CLOSED in Marine Area 12) Octopus must be caught with hands or instruments that do not penetrate the octopus, except that octopus taken while angling with hook and line may be retained.
NO CHEMICALS or IRRITANTS ALLOWED.
Scallops
-Pink & Spiny
None 5 qts or 10 lbs in shell Open all year Combined limit for both species. May be harvested only by hand or with a hand-held manually operated prying tool.
-Weathervane 4" 12 Open all year Measure across longest distance of shell.
-Rock None 12 Open all year Hammers or mallets may not be used to harvest rock scallops.
Sea Cucumbers

None 25 Open all year (CLOSED in Marine Area 12) Limit is a total of both species. For all other sea cucumber see unclassified marine invertebrates below.

Squid None 1 squid over ten pounds or 5 qts or 10 lbs Open all year (CLOSED in Marine Area 12) Legal gear is a baitfish jig, a maximum of 4 squid lures, a herring rake, or a hand dip net.
Each harvester must have a separate container.

Graceful crab, kelp crab, starfish,sand dollars, shore crab, snails, etc.
None Combined limit of 10 Open all year Each harvester must have a separate container. Possession limit is one daily limit.
No harvest in State Parks.
