This site includes only the intertidal area. The substrate is fine to mixed cobble. The site was closed at the request of the City of Des Moines, which owns the intertidal.

The site has not been formally surveyed for organisms but anticipated organisms include intertidal bivalves, encrusting organisms, sea stars.

Onsite management is performed by the City of Des Moines.
