WDFW surveys indicate that native littleneck clams are present in good numbers on West Point Jefferson. A good area for clam digging is in the vicinity of a small stream that runs across the beach. Butter clams, Manila clams and cockles are also available.

This beach is boat access only. There is no upland access to this beach. West Point Jefferson is located in Port Madison. The northern boundary of this beach is about a half mile west of the pier at Point Jefferson. The eastern boundary is about 260 yards east of the stream channel that runs across the beach (see beach photo). The boundaries of this beach are not marked. Harvesters are advised to stay near the stream to avoid trespassing.
Nearest boat ramps: The Suquamish boat ramp (located just off Suquamish Way in downtown Suquamish) is about two and a half miles by boat from West Point Jefferson.
FACILITIES None. There are stores and other facilities in Suquamish a short distance from the boat ramp. Facilities for boaters are available at the Kingston Marina and the Brownsville Marina.
