Please be sure to check the D.O.H. website before harvesting shellfish on this beach. This is an area where health closures for shellfish are common. There is a large Manila clam population at Anna Smith Children's Park. There are lesser numbers of native littleneck clams on this beach and there may also be butter clams, and cockles present.
DIRECTION TO SITE
From the south (Olympia, Bremerton, Tacoma) travel north on Highway 3 through Bremerton to Silverdale. Take the Kitsap Mall Boulevard exit and turn right on Kitsap Mall Boulevard. Proceed about one half a mile to Silverdale Way NW. Go straight through the intersection. Kitsap Mall Boulevard becomes NE Bucklin Hill Road after you cross Silverdale Way NW. Continue on NE Bucklin Hill Road about three quarters of a mile to Tracyton Boulevard NW. Turn right and proceed about one mile. Look for the signed entrance to Anna Smith Children's Park on the right just after you cross Barker Creek.

FACILITIES There are picnic areas, restrooms, and demonstration gardens at Anna Smith Children's Park.
