HARVEST PROFILE
Not much is known about Silverdale Shoal clam populations. This site was recently deemed safe for shellfish harvest, but a health advisory remains in affect. Shellfish harvesters should be sure to check the D.O.H. website for health closure information before harvesting.
DIRECTION TO SITE
Silverdale Shoal (Clam Island) is boat access only. This site is exposed only at low tides and is surrounded by water at all times. The highest point on the shoal is located at approximately 47.635º N, 122.684º W.
Nearest boat ramp: Silverdale Waterfront Park ramp (located on N.W. Byron Street in south Silverdale) is about 0.88 nautical miles by boat from Silverdale Shoal.
FACILITIES None. There are restrooms and other facilities at Silverdale Waterfront Park.
