Kitsap Lake is approximately 5 miles west of Naval base Kitsap Bremerton, and is open year around to fishing activities. Kitsap Lake is stocked exclusively with larger rainbow trout. It receives good numbers of jumbo and triploid rainbow trout in the spring and additional numbers of jumbo rainbow trout in the fall. Fishing for largemouth bass is good in the spring through summer, as is fishing for bluegill.
