Martha Lake

Martha Lake is located just north of George.  This lake is one of Region 2's most popular March 1st Opener lakes.  Anglers fishing Martha Lake experience excellent fishing during the first month of the season.  After the the opener fishing is good to fair.  Trout size is usually excellent with yearlins ranging betwen 11-13 inches in length and holdovers up to and exceeding 20 inches.  Both boat and shoreline fishing are very effective at Martha Lake.
