Bear Lake

Bear lake is located in the Oak Creek Wildlife Area about 15 miles west of Naches. Although open to fishing year-round, this small lake is generally not accessible by vehicle until late April or early May due to snowpack.  There is an unpaved forest road to the lake.  Elevation is 4610 feet.

Fishing should be excellent in the spring to early summer for stocked 10 to 12 inch rainbow trout with some to 14 inches.  The lake is also stocked with 1 pound "jumbo" rainbow trout.
