On Orcas Island, 4.5 miles southeast of East Sound. Open to fishing year-round. Fishing for kokanee is good from late-May to early-June and in the fall. Other opportunities include cutthroat trout, eastern brook trout, and jumbo triploid rainbow trout that are stocked in the spring. The trout daily limit can include only one fish over 18 inches. Moran State Park (Washington State Parks, http://www.parks.wa.gov/) provides public access and a boat launch.
