All Master Hunters must complete (or demonstrate that they have ALREADY successfully completed) the Crime Observation Reporting Training (C.O.R.T.) program. Coordinated by Eyes In The Woods, the program trains citizens to identify, document and report natural resource crimes. Master Hunter applicants are encouraged to complete C.O.R.T. requirements prior to September 30, due to the general unavailability of Enforcement Officers to conduct classes once fall hunting seasons begin.
Three hours of
conservation work credit will be given for attending a C.O.R.T. class.
Please send in a copy of your Certificate of Training as proof of
attendance.
Training Schedule
C.O.R.T. training
is coordinated by Eyes in the Woods. Please visit the Eyes
in the Woods website for complete training schedules. Also see Big Game Hunting Seasons and Rules pamphlet.
