on ALL WDFW LandsAbout Vehicle Use Permit The Crescent Lake Wildlife Area consists of 360 acres of land in Snohomish County three miles south of Monroe just west of SR 203. The area is in the floodplain of the Snoqualmie River.
About 110 acres are currently sharecropped, with a proportion of the crops left standing in the field for wildlife. Crescent Lake is a small lake with surrounding forested and unforested wetlands. Upland forest and shrublands also occur on the area. Waterfowl, songbirds and small mammals frequent the uplands and wetlands.
The primary use of the area is for hunting pen-reared pheasants. Other major uses include waterfowl hunting, fishing, dog training, and nature observation. The wooded area has a number of interconnected trails which are well-used by nature observers and hikers. The unit has two parking lots for visitors.
