Note: Not all WDFW Recreational Access Area Sites (boat launches) are open throughout the year. Some sites are open only during hunting and fishing seasons. Closures are necessary to comply with land owner agreements, and to manage limited maintenance funds. Please contact the nearest Regional Office for more information on scheduled closures.

The gated entrance to Lions Park also known as Martin’s Bar
on the Columbia River at Woodland, WA, has been closed temporarily.

The Army Corps of Engineers is depositing dredge spoils on an adjacent site and the regular entrance site has been closed as a public safety measure.

The Port of Woodland has provided an alternative access site. The directions are posted on the gate leading into Lions Park.

The site could remain closed until late July or early August of 2008.

Barber Clark From SR 14 east, turn north on 15th street in Washougal, follow Washougal River Road 31. miles to access on right. Bank fishing, no boat access.

Caterpillar Island Clark I-5 to Vancouver exit, West on Fourth Plain, N on Lower River Road, boat ramp access just past the marina

Cedar Creek Clark From I-5 take exit 21 (Woodland) head east on SR 503, go 1 block turn right across bridge, turn left on Hayes Road. Go 6.2 miles (Hayes Road turns into NE Cedar Creek Road) turn left on Etna Road, go 1.1 miles turn left down gravel road to boat launch.

Cedar Creek-Pigeon Springs Clark From I-5 take exit 21 (Woodland), head east on SR 503, go 1 block turn right across bridge, turn left on Hayes Road. Go 12.1 miles (Hayes Road turns into NE Cedar Creek Road) turn right into access limited parking. Cedar Creek Wildlife Area, hunting and bank fishing, no ramp.

County Line Clark From SR 14, turn north on 15th Street in Washougal, follow Washougal River Road 8.5 miles to access right. Drift boat access and parking.

Jenny Creek Clark I-5 Exit6 21, Woodland, go North 1 block, E over bridge .1 mi on County Rd 16, South 3.8 mi to County Rd 39, East .6 mi to site

LaCamas Lake Clark From Camas on SR 500 go about 2 miles to Leadbetter Road on left, on Leadbetter go 0.7 miles, turn left into boat ramp, parking in upper lot only. Boat access and bank fishing.

Langsdorf Landing Clark From I-5 exit 1-d in Vancouver (4th Plain Blvd), go west on 4th Plain Blvd 8 miles (4th Plain turns into Lower River Road), access is on the left. Boat ramp and parking.

Shillapoo Clark From I-5 exit 1-d in Vancouver(4th Plain Blvd), go west on 4th Plain Blvd for 8 miles (4th Plain turns into Lower River Road), access is on the right. Parking for wildlife area.

Two Forks Clark From I-5 take exit 21 (Woodland) head east on SR 503, go 1 block turn right across bridge, turn right on NW Pacific Highway, go 2.5 miles to Toenjes Road, turn right on Toenjes Road, go 0.3 miles to gate on left. Small parking area, bank fishing, no boat access.

Vancouver Lake Clark From I-5 exit 1-d in Vancouver (4th Plain Blvd), go west on 4th Plain Blvd 1.5 miles, turn right on Fruit Valley Road, go 0.4 miles, then turn left on LaFrambois Road, go 1.7 miles to the access area. Parking lots and unimproved boat access.

Abernathy Creek Access Cowlitz West on SR 4 from Longview approx 10 miles, north on Abernathy Creek Road 0.1 miles, first road on left down hill to ramp. Small boat access and bank fishing.

Beginner's Hole Cowlitz From I-5 take exit 32, turn east on Kalama River Road, go 3 miles, turn right into access area.

Happa Road Cowlitz From I-5 take exit 21 (Woodland), head east on SR 503, go 1 block turn right across bridge, turn left on Hayes Road. Go 6.2 miles (Hayes Road turns into NE Cedar Creek Road) turn left on Etna Road, go 0.1 mile, turn left on Happa Road, go 0.5 miles to access. Stream bank fishing only.

Island Ramp (Lewis River) Cowlitz From I-5 take exit 21 (Woodland), go east on SR 503 4.9 miles, turn right into access. Boat access and bank fishing.

Kress Lake Cowlitz From I-5 take exit 32, turn east on Kalama River Road, go 0.3 miles, turn left on old Highway 99, go 0.3 miles, turn right into access. Bank fishing,no internal combustion motors allowed.

Lower Kalama Cowlitz From I-5 take exit 32, turn west on Kalama River Road, go 0.5 miles, turn left on Fisherman's Loop Road to access. Bank fishing and boat access.

Martin Access Cowlitz From I-5 take exit 21 (Woodland), go west on SR 503 (Goerig Road) 2 blocks west of I-5 bridge, turn left on Lakeshore Drive, go 1.3 miles, turn left on South Pekin Road. Follow 2 miles to access. Bank fishing and boat access.

Modrow Bridge Cowlitz From I-5 take exit 32 turn east on Kalama River Road, go 1.2 miles, turn east across Modrow Bridge, just past bridge turn left down dirt road to access. Bank fishing and boat access.

Oleque Creek Cowlitz From I-5 take exit 57, go west 0.1 miles, turn left on Barnes Drive, go 2 miles, turn right on Imboden Road, go 0.1 miles, turn left on Miekler Road, go 0.3 miles to boat access. Bank fishing and boat access.

Silver Lake Cowlitz From I-5 take exit 49, go east on SR 504 7.2 miles, turn right on Kerr Road, go 0.5 miles to access. Public fishing, boat access, and fishing dock.

Sportsmen's Club Cowlitz From I-5 take exit 32, turn west on Kalama River Road, go 0.75 miles, turn left on single lane paved road to access on Columbia River. No boat ramp.

Upper Kalama Cowlitz From I-5 take exit 32, turn east on Kalama River Road, go 3.5 miles, turn right on dirt road to access area.

Woodland Bottoms Cowlitz I-5 Exit 22, West on Dike Access Rd to Port of Woodland Road

Rowland Lake Klickitat From Bingen/White Salmon go east on SR 14 for 4 miles, turn left on County Road 1230, follow road 0.3 miles to access on right. Bank fishing and small boat access.

Stinson Flat Klickitat From Goldendale go west on SR 142 11 miles, turn north on Glenwood Highway, go 10 miles, turn left down hill to access area. Bank fishing and drift boat access only.

Swale Creek Klickitat AREA CLOSED - LOST TO THE FLOOD OF 1996.

Turkey Hole Klickitat From SR 14 at Lyle take SR 142 north, go 5 miles to Turkey Hole parking area on left. Bank fishing, no boat ramp.

Leidl Creek Klickitat From Goldendale go west on SR 142 11 miles, turn right on Glenwood Highway, go 11 miles to Leidle Bridge, across bridge access sites are on both sides of road, ramp on south side of road. Bank fishing and boat access.

Mineral Springs Klickitat From SR 14 at Lyle take SR142 north, go 15.5 miles (through Klickitat) to access on left. Bank fishing and boat ramp.

Barrier Dam Lewis From the town of Salkum on SR 12, turn south on Fuller Road, go 1.1 miles, turn left and go 1 mile to parking area and boat ramp. Bank fishing and boat access.

Blue Creek Lewis From I-5 at exit 68 go 6.5 miles to Tucker Road, go straight south 3 miles to Spencer Road, turn left on Spencer Road, go 1 mile, turn right to Hatchery, follow signs to boat access and parking.

I-5 Cowlitz River Access Lewis From I-5 take exit 57, go west through intersection (Rodgers Road) 1.1 miles, turn right on Mandy Road, go 2.4 miles, turn left into access. Boat access and bank fishing.

Massey Bar (Cowlitz River) Lewis From I-5 take exit 63 to SR 505, go east 2.3 miles, turn left on Jackson Highway, go 1.1 miles, turn right on Spencer Road, go 0.8 miles, turn right on Buckley Road, follow road 0.7 miles to access. Bank fishing and boat access.

Mineral Lake Lewis Go north from the town of Mineral 0.3 miles on west side of lake to boat ramp and parking.

South Toledo Lewis From I-5 take exit 60, go east on Ash 2.6 miles, turn right on N. 5th Street, go 0.1 miles, turn right on S. 5th Street, go 0.5 miles, turn left on Oak Street, go 0.2 miles, turn right on First Street. Follow green public fishing signs, go 0.3 miles to fishing access. No boat ramp.

Wallace Lewis From I-5 take exit 57, go west through intersection (Rogers Road) 1.1 miles to Mandy Road, go 0.5 miles, turn left into access road, access road goes through gravel pit 0.5 miles to parking area. Bank fishing only.

Nellie Corser Skamania From SR 14 just west of the Skamania Store, turn north up hill on Duncan Creek Road, go 3 miles across bridge stay left on dirt road, take first road to left to small parking area. Parking lot and trail.

Steel Bridge Skamania From SR 14, turn north on 15th street in Washougal, go 10 miles, turn right on Canyon Creek Road, go across bridge, access road on right on Sportsman Road, follow to parking lot. Bank fishing, no boat access.

Beaver Creek Wahkiakum From Cathlamet go 0.5 miles west on SR4, turn right on Elochoman Valley Road, go 3.5 miles to access on the right. Fishing access only, no ramp.

Brooks Slough Access Wahkiakum On SR 4 go 1 mile east of Skamokawa, turn right into boat ramp.

Fossil Creek Wahkiakum From the town of Grays River on SR 4 go east 2.5 miles to Fossil Creek Road on north side of SR 4, go 0.7 miles and turn left into parking area. Stream bank fishing only.

Grange Ramp Wahkiakum From Rosburg on SR 4 go 0.1 miles on Altoona-Pillar Rock Road, turn right and go 0.2 miles to boat ramp.

Puget Island Access Wahkiakum From Cathlamet go south on SR 409, go 3.8 miles, turn left on East Sunny Sands Road, parking lot 0.6 miles on the right. Bank fishing only.

Upper Elochoman Wahkiakum From Cathlamet go 0.5 miles west on SR4, turn right on Elochoman Valley Road, go 4.7 miles to access on right. Fishing access only, no boat ramp.
