The Chiliwist Wildlife Area contains nearly 5,000 acres and is located in the foothills west of the Okanogan River.  It is accessed from the Chiliwist Road off of old highway 97, two miles south of the town of Malott.  Recreational uses include hunting, trapping, sightseeing, and cross-country skiing.  Limited fishing opportunities exist on Chiliwist Creek.
