Food fish classification WAC 220.12.010

BAITFISH LAMPARA
Authorizes the taking of anchovy using specified gear in designated Washington waters. (See WAC 220.49.014)

BAITFISH PURSE SEINE
Authorizes the taking of anchovy and smelt using specified gear in designated Washington waters. (See WAC 220.49.012)

BOTTOM FISH JIG
Authorizes the taking of bottom fish using specified gear in designated Washington waters. (See WAC 220.48.041)

BOTTOM FISH POTS
Authorizes the taking of bottom fish using specified gear in designated Washington waters. (See WAC 220.48.071)

BOTTOM FISH TROLL
Authorizes the taking of bottom fish using specified gear in designated Washington waters. (See WAC 220.48.051)

CARP
Authorizes the taking of carp using specified gear in designated Washington waters. Requires a permit from the Inland Fish Division, call Fish Program for more information 360-902-2700. (See WAC 220.20.020(7))

COLUMBIA RIVER SMELT
Authorizes the taking of smelt using specified gear within Columbia River and tributaries. (See WAC 220.33.040)

DOGFISH SET NET
Authorizes the taking of dogfish using specified gear in coastal Washington waters. (See WAC 220.48.028)

FOOD FISH DRAG SEINE
Authorizes the taking of bottom fish using specified gear in Puget Sound. (See WAC 220.48.061)

FOOD FISH SET LINE
Authorizes the taking of bottom fish using specified gear in Puget Sound. (See WAC 220.48.071)

FOOD FISH TRAWL (NON PUGET SOUND)
Authorizes the taking and delivery of bottom fish using specified gear in offshore waters (outside the 3 mile limit). May deliver food fish and/or shellfish taken in offshore waters (outside the 3 mile limit). (See WAC 220.44.030)

FOOD FISH TRAWL (PUGET SOUND)
Authorizes the taking of whiting and other bottom fish using pelagic trawl gear in all Puget Sound catch reporting areas except 24B, 24C and 26A.

NON-SALMON CHARTER
A non-salmon charter license designating a vessel is required to operate a charter boat to take, for personal use, food fish other than salmon and shellfish.

NON-SALMON DELIVERY
Authorizes delivery of food fish or shellfish other than ocean pink shrimp or Dungeness crab in offshore waters (beyond the 3 mile limit).

SMELT DIP BAG
Authorizes the taking of smelt and anchovy using specified gear in Puget Sound. (See WAC 220.49.013)

SMELT GILL NET
Authorizes the taking of smelt and anchovy using specified gear in Puget Sound.
(See WAC 220.49.017)
