DESCRIPTION OF INCIDENT
RP CALLED TO REPORT THAT HER FAMILY HAD BEEN OUT OF TOWN AND RETURNED TO FIND THAT THEY LOST SIX SHEEP IN TWO DAYS. ON WEDNESDAY THE 7TH THEY LOST A EWE AND A LAMB. ONE THURSDAY NIGHT THE 8TH/FRIDAY MORNING THE 9TH, THEY LOST A RAM, EWE, AND TWO MORE LAMBS. TWO FISH AND WILDLIFE OFFICERS RESPONDED WITH A KARELIAN BEAR DOG TO INVESTIGATE. THE KBD QUICKLY LOCATED A COUGAR TRACK WITHIN A QUARTER MILE OF THE KILL SITE AND TREED THE COUGAR. THE COUGAR WAS TRANQUILIZED AND RELEASED ELSEWHERE. THE COUGAR WAS A 115 POUND FEMALE.
