DESCRIPTION OF INCIDENT
RP CALLED TO REPORT THAT ONE OF HER 2-WEEK-OLD GOATS HAD GONE MISSING OVER NIGHT. A FISH AND WILDLIFE OFFICER RESPONDED AND CONCLUDED THAT A COUGAR WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTACK. A HOUNDSMAN RAN HIS DOGS AND A COUGAR WAS LOCATED. THE DOGS TRIED FOR OVER TWO HOURS TO TREE THE COUGAR BUT WERE UNABLE TO AND HAD TO STOP DUE TO THE HEAT. RP ADVISED SHE WOULD KEEP THE GOATS IN THE BARN AT NIGHT AND REPORT ANY FURTHER ISSUES.
